Time reclaims all work

See,  in the breach
a  green, springy thing,
stronger than the prairie,
more tenacious than a tree.

  1. Let all my footprints be erased with overgrowth as I pass through, leave no trail to follow for it is not leading to anywhere a human would want to lie.

  8. That springy thing can have a habit of springing back on itself. A delightful tight thought that lets other thoughts run wild.

  10. Futurists claim that our great cities would be overgrown with plants within 50 years of neglect. I love to photograph old pioneer cemeteries reclaimed by nature; the reason we have never found a Bigfoot skeleton, nature reclaimed the corpse; nice job.
